Blissfully I slip away
Sans the waves
Surrounded by the silence
Drowning out the Siren's song
Peacefully I lay
In sands that once
Dragged me to a watery grave
Numb to all the pain
The Sol's release sends me deep beyond the wake

I see the light cascade
Turning into white to black to white again
Though quickly as it fades, I retain the pulse
In spite of my desire to let go
I feel a warmth burning on through
Night and day the cycle still perpetuates
Is this the final state
